Logos

Iron Goat Brewing Company. Named for Spokane's Garbage Goat sculpture, this startup brewery needed a fun, memorable logo that would work on labels, shirts, glassware, and all manner of swag.

Inland Northwest Ale Trail. This association of Eastern Washington breweries offers prizes to anyone getting stamps from a dozen breweries on their trail map. National Park signage inspired its logo and branding.

Parade of Paws Logo - Winner of American Advertising Federation Spokane's "Create 2020" design competition to re-brand the Humane Society's annual fundraising event.

Rick Garcia Design. Rick, a master carpenter, furniture builder, and artist, needed a logo for his new business. His frequent use of butterfly joins inspired the icons between words. The font is borrowed from the collection of Field Notes books he uses to plan projects.

Savage Boar Spirits. Alex Wilbur, whose last name means "wild boar" in the original old English, wanted a non-stuffy logo for a non-traditional distillery. Alas, "Wild Boar" was taken, so Savage Boar was born. The tusk placement in the logo mimics that of boar hunting trophies.

World Wide Packets. Fiber-to-home tech startup World Wide Packets needed a clean, modern logo which implied lightning speed and global integration. The company's founder loved yellow, which featured generously in all logos, branding, and office walls.

Bonneville Brewing. Brewer Paul Edminster wanted a vintage-motorcycle-themed brewery that sounded like it had been around forever. Inspired by old motorcycle ads and racing posters, the logo echoes their colors, shapes, and fonts. (In this case I also provided the name, after the Bonneville Salt Flats.)

Iron Goat Mug Club. Iron Goat wanted a crest-like logo simple enough to work in embroidery and to be etched on glass mugs for its best customers. This design debuted on plaid flannel and remained readable.

Say Uncle!. D.J. Larry Pearson went by the radio name of "Uncle Larry." When he started his own production company, he needed a logo that referenced his well-known name and reflected his strength in voice work.

Woody's Home Improvement. This logo for a home handyman business drew inspiration from a vintage, open-style wooden toolbox, altered slightly to form a "W."

Webiness. This startup company served as an incubator for other web-based startup companies. They wanted a clean but fun logo that put the emphasis on the customer, represented by the animated "i" which appears to be supported by the surrounding letters.

Arividerci Coffee Company - This coffee roaster wanted a retro-inspired logo with an Italian feel. The logo is hand drawn and digitized.

Bitcentric. This tech startup company needed a clean and modern logo with digital flare and none of the swooshes that were all the rage at the time.

Zen Cowboys. Alternative western swing band Zen Cowboys wanted a simple, fun logo that would be easily recognized on shirts and stickers with or without text.
